Welcome! 

 

We are Savannah and Tanner Fuchs; new parents and owners of a beef cattle herd in Monteview, Idaho. We both grew up surrounded by a constant variety of dogs, so it makes sense we now have an ever growing furry herd of our own!

Tanner began raising Idaho Shag puppies in 2012. After a few years of breeding and training, Tanner earned recognition by the Western Horseman for his Idaho Shags' stamina and ability to handle livestock. We currently have 3 Idaho Shags that work with us each day-- we consider them to be our 4 legged ranch hands.  

In 2019, we added Dolly to the herd. Dolly is our sweet and loyal Standard Poodle. Her gentle playfulness and friendly curiosity makes her the perfect family dog. Although she believes that she's a cattle dog, there are a few limitations with her breed-- most notably her tendency to get overheated if she spends too long in the sun. After researching about several cross-breeding options for Dolly, we learned that Sheepadoodles make great herding dogs. We soon after added Kenny, who is such a loyal, kind and caring Old English Sheepdog. Combining Dolly's intelligence with the herding instincts of an Old English Sheepdog, we expect to have playful, loyal, and hardworking pups-- perfect for family dogs, service dogs, or herding dogs. 

 

 We take pride in not only our responsible breeding practices, but also the free roaming lifestyle that we provide our dogs. We can't wait to help you welcome the next member of your family!
